Biography
Yixue Li is an engineering manager at Pinterest. She joined Pinterest as an engineer in 2013 when it was less than 100 employees. Today, she leads a team of over 10 engineers to build the Pinterest search and visual search product. Recent launches include skin tone filter, authoritative vaccine search results, Pinterest Lens — the visual search real-world objects, and Flashlight — within-object search on all Pinterest pins. Today, her interests include camera AR technology for real-time image search and making Pinterest a more seamless shopping experience when users are searching for inspirations. When she is not glued to the computer screen, she enjoys playing with her three-year-old son and teaching Chinese.
