Lisa Ford is a Director of Digital Marketing at Capital One®. From co-managing the initial social media launch of ING DIRECT USA (now Capital One) to leading acquisition marketing across the Capital One Bank website, Lisa continues to challenge how customers engage with banks and financial institutions online today. Her work has included digital strategy and execution of large scale Capital One marketing campaigns as well as product rollouts like Capital One’s Ratings & Reviews and Refer-a-Friend programs. Currently, Lisa is focused on Capital One’s web management, content strategy and manages SEO initiatives for core products and physical locations.
A graduate of the University of Delaware with a dual bachelor’s degree in management and marketing, Lisa’s passion for digital marketing and customer engagement began during her role as Online Manager at The News Journal/delawareonline.com. She then went on to complete her MBA graduate degree from the University of Delaware and become Director of Marketing for a software firm, Managing Editor Inc. She joined Capital One in 2007, where she now champions engagement both online and in her local Wilmington, DE community. She currently serves as a board member of the University of Delaware’s Horn Program in Entrepreneurship and Wilmington Garden Day.
